Ivy was Cremated at the Peninsula Funeral Home Crematorium, Newport News, Virginia, USA, on the 13th August 2006. Her Ashes were brought back to England, where a memorial service took place at Rochdale Crematorium, Lancashire, and her ashes were interred in the Garden of Remembrance.

Ivy married Arthur Harold Ward, son of Harold Edward Ward and Florence May Ward, on 15 May 1943 in The Register Office, Bury, Lancashire, England. (Arthur Harold Ward was born on 26 May 1922 in 4, Grantham Road, died on 7 Apr 1969 in Hillingdon Hospital, Middlesex. UK - Ruptured Dissecting Aneurysm Of Ascending Aorta Due To Medionecrosis. (Post Mortem Without Inquest) and was buried in Ashes Interred At Breakspear Cremetorium, Ickenham, Middlesex.UK.)
